Breakfast at 8am and we leave a bit after 9am and we immediately see reindeer!
On our way to Tromsø we pass a Sami Shop in Heia. We stop here for some shopping and have a look, so nice to see.
Then to Storsteinnes beautiful view on mountains.
Then to the Kvaløya ship wreck in Tisnes.
Just before entering Tromsø we suddenly get reindeer crossing the road just in front of our car.
We drive over the Sandnessundbrua, through the Langnestunnelen and Tromsøbrua via Ramfjordbotn to Breidvik to see the Ullsfjorden, a beautiful scenery.
Then to the hotel in Tromsø, check in and walk around town to look for a nice restaurant but some of them are fully booked.
We ask two women for a good address and they send us to Maskinverkstedet, but also full, they send us to their other restaurant Fangst.
Patrick has reindeer and Nathalie has red fish.
Then dessert for Patrick pana cota with strawberries and Nathalie the espresso crème brulée. Excellent!
It is so good here that we book a table for the next two evenings.
Then we walk around the city, very nice, blue sky but so cold.
Then to the hotel for a good sleep after a long day.
Tromsø is the coldest place of our trip but so beautiful... you can see the difference between locals and tourists.... locals don’t wear a lot as it is about summer for them and tourists wear lots of layers and hats!
