Breakfast at 8am. We both are very tired as around 2am the fire alarm in the hotel went off for several minutes.
We leave around 9am, get some fuel (22 liter, aprox. 45€). Then we will have many photo stops like: Gimsoya, Eggums which is a cozy little fisher village, Borga Eggum, Uttakleov beach, Hauklandsyranda, Vik beach, Vikten, Flakstad, Ramberg, Sandbotn, Krystad, and then we reach Reine, beautiful place but quite busy.
Somewhere in Gimsoymyrene naturreservat we see a moose next to the road! We did not expect that.
Around 3pm we reach Reine and we first stop to check out the restaurant Anita’s but we decide to drive on and we check in at the Rorbua where we booked, what a lovely house we get!
We book dinner at Gammelbua restaurant but already at 5pm as otherwise they only have a table at 9pm.
We both have as appetizer the scallops and as main course Patrick has the halibut and Nathalie the cod.
It is amazing! We book immediately for the next two days.
