Padinago's trip to Canada in 2015

Day 20 - Prince Edward Island (West)

Around 7.30am we have a small breakfast at the hotel and leave to discover the west coast of PEI.

It is raining the whole time and unfortunately also when we arrive at the beautiful West Point Lighthouse, which still is in use as a navigational aid beacon, although the living quarters are now used as a unique bed and breakfast.

We drive back to Summerside and have lunch (nice burgers with fried pickles) at ‘Brothers 2’.

We drive around but we just have enough of the rain and decide to go to the Confedertation mall.

To recuperate from this very wet day, we go in the evening for dinner at… Lobster on the Wharf where Nathalie enjoys again an excellent lobster and Patrick the fantastic halibut!

Daytrip approx. 359 km

And when the rain begins to fall... It needs a little bit of work West Point Lighthouse Ooops, we have a little crack! Somewhere on PEI, I don't remember where exactly... This I remember! ;-)
