Padinago's Used iPhone Apps

TomTom US-Canada[Click to open in iTunes]
As TomTom can work with Apple's ContactList, we already put all the hotels in our contacts as well the specific places we want to see. This GPS-app has helped us a lot over the past years, and as we always have 2 iPhones with us, we always have a back-up. You do not need a data-connection, only a carholder such as the small Xtand Go (this can be bought at Coolblue) in order to fix him to your windscreen.

MapsWithMe (Pro)[Click to open in iTunes]
With this app you'll download the maps of the areas which you will be visiting in advance, at home on your own network. These maps are very detailed and show every road wherever you are (even in the parks). The map can orientate in the direction you are walking so that you can see where you are and where you are going. We use this app also for citytrips where we mark (POI) all the places which we want to visit in advance at home.

Momento[Click to open in iTunes]
We use Momento every evening to note all our experiences of the day. With these experiences we make our daily reviews for our site.
PDF Reader[Click to open in iTunes]
All our official documents are scanned and saved in this app as a back-up.
Sunrise, Sunset[Click to open in iTunes]
For those who want to take pictures of nice sunrises and sunsets. This app gives you the timing of the sunrise and sunset for any location you desire (also your present location).
Speed Tracker[Click to open in iTunes]
This app is mainly used to log a certain trip so we can see our tour when we are back home (with the help of Google Earth). We can see our tour and everywhere we stopped for lunch or to take some picutes. We used to do this with a separate Garmin eTrex.
XE Currency[Click to open in iTunes]
If you want to know the actual exchange rate of a certain currency...
The Photographer's Ephemeris[Click to open in iTunes]
The Photographer's Ephemeris (TPE) helps you plan outdoor photography shoots in natural light, particularly landscape and urban scenes. It's a map-centric sun and moon calculator: see how the light will fall on the land, day or night, for any location on earth.
